WEATHER ALERT: Snow coming to an end over the next few hours, temperatures drop below freezing overnight.
SATURDAY:
Dry air is pushing in from the east, causing the heavy snow to end a bit earlier than anticipated. Snow totals are still on track with the forecast. The heaviest axis of snow will shift over the foothills and west. Light on and off snow will continue elsewhere through about 10 PM.
SUNDAY: Slick travel out the door before sunrise as temps. plummet below freezing. A few lingering rain and snow showers are possible tomorrow morning, mainly across the Plains. Sun makes a return for much of the region with temperatures in the 40s and 50s. A big melting day!
