(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The celebration of food trucks in Colorado Springs is returning for its second year on Saturday, June 2.
The Second Annual 719 Battle of The Food Trucks celebrates the local food truck scene. The event team said previous years had nearly 3,000 attendees, and this year, are expecting between 3,500 to 5,000.
The event will be held at the ‘Meanwhile Block’ at the corner of South Sierra Madre Street and West Cimarron Street in downtown Colorado Springs. Tickets to the event will be $40 for general admission and $60 for VIP Admission. General tickets include entry to the event and 10 sample tickets for culinary meals from participating food trucks. VIP tickets come with parking discounts, a complimentary beer, a private VIP area, and a special gift.
“The 719 Battle of The Food Trucks not only celebrates the local mobile food industry but also serves a greater purpose by contributing to a local non-profit each year. For the 2024 event, Angels of America’s Fallen will be the beneficiary of a large portion of ticket sales, vendor fees, and beer sales to aid in their mission to encourage and fund healthy positive activities for the children of fallen firefighters, military, and law enforcement,” said the event team.
