(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — The annual Carnivale Parade and celebration of Mardi Gras in Manitou Springs has been postponed due to weather concerns, along with the Mumbo Jumbo Gumbo Cook-Off.
A storm system is moving in on Friday, Feb. 9, bringing snow to parts of Southern Colorado to start the weekend. Due to these concerns, the Gumbo Cook-Off and Carnivale parade originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 10 has been postponed until March 2.
The Mumbo Jumbo Gumbo Cook-Off will now take place on March 2 at 11 a.m., and the Carnivale Parade will follow at 1 p.m.
