(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A man and woman are under arrest after the car they were in hit two patrol cars and a standoff ensued on the southeast side of Colorado Springs on Thursday, Feb. 8.
According to CSPD, officers originally responded just before 11:30 a.m. to a report of a suspicious car parked in the 4100 block of Channing Place, west of the Colorado Springs Airport.
When officers approached the car, the man driving, identified as Michael Morlang, tried to drive away and hit two patrol cars, damaging them. A female passenger, identified as Keely Callahan, surrendered following the collision, but Morlang did not.
A standoff ensued, though CSPD said Morlang was eventually taken into custody without further incident. There were no injuries, CSPD said.
