WEATHER ALERT: Significant snowfall can be expected from Friday night and into Sunday morning across much of southern Colorado.
TODAY: After a burst of snow this morning… things will be pretty quiet through the afternoon and evening. Our next round of snow starts later tonight.
OVERNIGHT: Snow will develop overnight and impact travel Saturday morning. The snow will be heaviest in the morning from Colorado Springs and areas to the north. Widespread snow develops Saturday afternoon and continues into Sunday morning. The heaviest accumulations will be north of downtown Colorado Springs… and south of Pueblo into Huerfano and Las Animas counties. Drying and warming early next week.
