CSPD looking for witnesses of pedestrian crash

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is asking for witnesses or anyone with information on a crash involving a pedestrian in the Broadmoor area on Thursday afternoon to come forward.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian just before 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8 at the intersection of Laclede Avenue and Lorraine Street, south of the Motor City Curve in the Broadmoor area.

CSPD said the pedestrian was walking their dog when a car hit them. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car was contacted by officers on the scene.

Detectives responded and are investigating, however CSPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has information pertinent to the investigation to contact CSPD at (719)444-7000, or Pikes Peak Crime Stoppers at (719) 634-STOP (7867).
