The Fourth Judicial Attorney’s Office announced on Friday that extradition was underway for Rendon Dietzmann, 32, a man arrested in Texas for allegedly posting a YouTube video of a dangerous 20-minute motorcycle ride from Colorado Springs to Denver.
The district attorney’s office stated that the Colorado State Patrol investigated the incident, accusing Ditzman of traveling at speeds exceeding 150 miles per hour at certain points during his commute.
According to the DA’s statement, Ditzman was arrested on a surrender warrant for Denton County, Texas, for charges including making threats, participating in high-speed competitions, reckless endangerment, driving 40 or more miles per hour over the speed limit, participating in speed exhibitions, and driving without a license plate.
Denton County jail records show that Dietzmann was booked on Feb. 7.
The statement said that Dietzmann’s first El Paso County court appearance will be scheduled after his extradition.
