One dead in rollover crash in northeast Colorado Springs

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A person has died following a rollover crash on the northeast side of Colorado Springs on Monday morning, Feb. 12.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), just before 8 a.m. on Monday, officers responded to a report of a single-car rollover crash at Dublin Boulevard and Vincent Drive, just southeast of I-25 and Woodmen Road.

CSPD said when officers arrived, they found that witnesses of the crash had pulled the driver from the wrecked car and were performing CPR. Members of the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) and AMR arrived and assumed life-saving efforts, but the driver died of their injuries.

The Major Crash Team responded and assumed the investigation due to the nature of the crash. CSPD said the investigation is early and the cause of the crash is still being determined.
