Mountain Metro proposes Fall service changes

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) is proposing new service changes and is looking for comment from the public.

The proposed changes are:

Route 15

MMT proposes an adjustment to the schedule of stops to enhance on-time performance, MMT is looking at the primary cause of on-time issues and making needed modifications.

Route 24

MMT is looking to change the schedule of stops to improve connections to Route 23. The two routes connect at South Carefree Circle and Tutt Boulevard once per hour with only one minute between connections. MMT is hoping that by making the time point change riders will have more time to make transfers between the two routes.

Route 18

MMT wants to extend weekday evening service by three hours, currently, the route ends service at 6:51 p.m.

Route 19

MMT wants to extend the weekday evening service by one hour. Currently, the route ends service at 8:50 p.m.

Route 39

MMT wants to extend the weekday evening service by one hour. Currently, the route ends service at 8:20 p.m.
