Suspect causes over $5,000 of damage in office building

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A suspect has been arrested after what the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said was a disturbance at an office building in the afternoon hours of Thursday, July 25.

CSPD said on Thursday, a little before 4 p.m. police were contacted by a downtown business at the corner of South Cascade and Pikes Peak Avenues. A suspect was allegedly destroying property and spraying a fire extinguisher, which tripped fire alarms.

Officers arrived and took the suspect, later identified as Adam Kincaid, into custody without incident. CSPD said officers learned that after being referred to another business, Kincaid allegedly left the business and started destroying the common area of the office building. According to CSPD, Kincaid caused over $5,000 worth of damage.
