According to the 2022 National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) State of Hispanic Wealth Report, Latino household wealth has more than doubled between 2013 and 2019, significantly outpacing the general population. Latino household wealth increased by 138% in 2019, compared to a 36% increase for the overall population. Real estate purchases are a driving factor in this number. The Latino homeownership rate has reached 48.4% and is on track to reach 50 percent by 2024. In the next 20 years, 70% of new homeowners will be Hispanic. Latinos will be our neighbors and be in every community as education continues to climb in line with homeownership. First in their family college students who are Latino is at 70%. The assignment has been understood; education is a main component to gaining wealth.
