THRALL, Texas – The U.S. Air Force Academy is investigating the death of a Thrall cadet after she was found unconscious in her dorm Wednesday night. 19-year-old Avery Koonce was in her first year at the Academy in Colorado Springs. She was a member of the track and field team with big dreams to make a difference in healthcare for pilots.
