New Luxurious Hotel Opens in Colorado town features stunning views of Pikes Peak

Travelers seeking a retreat near the scenic Pikes Peak can now experience the newly renovated Mining Exchange, a Registry Collection Hotel in downtown Colorado Springs. The 128-room hotel, which once housed a stock exchange for gold and silver, combines historic charm with modern luxury. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a full-service spa, on-site art gallery, and multiple culinary options, including a coffee bar and an indoor-outdoor courtyard.

This marks the first U.S. location for Registry Collection Hotels, a luxury brand introduced in 2021, which now boasts over 20 world-class properties globally. The Mining Exchange offers visitors a blend of local heritage and upscale experiences, while nearby attractions like the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum are just a short distance away.

Bashar Wali, CEO of Practice Hospitality, expressed pride in the hotel’s transformation, honoring its 120-year history and joining the prestigious Registry Collection Hotels portfolio.
