COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A shelter-in-place has been lifted at an apartment complex near New Life Church after a shooting suspect was captured Sunday morning. Police say the incident started around 6:15 a.m. when a resident at the Volta at Voyager apartments, located near New Life Drive and Voyager Parkway, fired several rounds from their gun inside their apartment. One of the bullets went through the wall and hit the shooter’s neighbor.
