(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The intersection of Research Parkway and Union Boulevard has reopened to traffic, according to CSPD.

According to CSPD officers on the scene, the crash at the intersection of Research and Union involved a car and a motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The Colorado Springs Police Department reported on Thursday, Sept. 26 a major intersection was closed due to a crash, and would remain closed for several hours.
CSPD said via X (formerly known as Twitter) that the entire intersection of North Union Boulevard and Research Parkway was closed due to a crash that occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. CSPD said people were injured due to the crash, and anticipates the intersection will not reopen for two to three hours.
CSPD asked the community to avoid the area.
