(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said two adults allegedly got on an Academy District 20 (D20) school bus while it was stopped and began an altercation between a D20 employee and a student on the bus.
According to CSPD, on Tuesday, Sept. 24 police became aware of an incident involving multiple people entering a D20 school bus while it was stopped and engaging in an altercation with a district worker and a student.
The School Resource Officers working with D20 employees identified the involved students and families and as a result of the investigation, two adults were cited.
CSPD said 39-year-old Tyisha Mock was cited for disorderly conduct and interference with staff faculty or students of educational institutions, and 35-year-old Joshua Mock was cited for interference with staff faculty or students of educational institutions. The remaining involved parties were identified as students of D20 schools but were not cited.
Police said the entry onto the school bus was attributed to an isolated incident between two students.
