(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — On Saturday, Oct. 26, thousands will descend on Manitou Springs for the biggest, spookiest event of the year–the 30th Annual Emma Crawford Coffin Races. If you’re among the thousands who are expected to visit the small mountain town for the occasion, you might want to know ahead of time where to park and how to get there.
Multiple roads in Manitou will be closed with detours in place, and it will be nearly impossible to move around the town close to parade and race time. The City of Manitou Springs is asking everyone to avoid driving near downtown from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday.
