Sport standouts inducted into Colorado Springs Hall of Fame

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Tuesday, Oct. 22, the Broadmoor World Arena hosted the Colorado Springs Sports Hall of Fame event and induction.

The 2024 inductees include:

  • Olympic Gold medalist and now mixed martial artist, Henry Cejudo
  • Colorado College volleyball coach, Rick Swan
  • Known as one of the best female players in the country, St. Mary’s golfer, Lauren Howe
  • WNBA player and first player in program history to record 1,600 points, Chucky Jeffery
  • USA Hockey coach, Lou Vairo
  • U.S. Air Force Academy Superintendent and College Football Playoff Executive Director, General Richard Clark
  • The mighty 1983 Coronado High School Girls’ Volleyball State Champions, who truly set the bar for excellence
  • The magnificent 1997 Sierra High School Boys’ Basketball State Champions

The event was first introduced in 2000 by the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation.
