Venetucci Farms welcomes dogs for “Pup-kin Fest”

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — For the first time ever, Venetucci Farms welcomed dogs onto the property for its inaugural “Pup-kin Fest” inviting Southern Colorado’s furry friends to join in on the pumpkin patch fun for the first time.

The event’s debut was during the final weekend for Venetucci’s annual tradition of kindergarten classes picking out their very own pumpkin, which they get to take home for free.

At “Pup-kin Fest” people had the opportunity to parade their costumed pups around the farm for photos, contests, and treats.

“So we wanted to just be able to say yes. When people ask, Can I bring my dog out?” said Nikki McComsey, Manager of Venetucci Farm “We wanted to have the one day where they could bring them to the farm, so we thought it’d be fun to just do a fun little costume party. People can dress up their dogs and have a fun day here.”

Venetucci Farm also had hayrides, farm animals, trick-or-treat stations, and a professional pumpkin carver to entertain families.
