Couple creates ‘spooktacular’ haunted house in front yard

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A couple in Colorado Springs decided to go all out for Halloween by turning their home into the ultimate spooky experience for trick-or-treaters.

Jimmie Bonato wanted to contribute to his neighborhood’s festive spirit and did not fail. He built a “spooktacular house” with handmade and operated sound effects, fog, and of course creepy ghost-like figures that are sure to jump out at you.

“My wife and I designed it ourselves and we put a lot of creativity into it,” Bonato said. “We built them ourselves and it’s a spooktacular house. Scares and surprises are part of our neighborhood fun.”

This year, the couple decided on a ‘creepy cemetery’ theme, with animatronics that are set to go off at a certain time each night to frighten anyone who might walk by.
