CSPD on crash alert status due to slick roads

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Due to the road conditions on Wednesday night, Oct. 30, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has announced it is on crash alert status.

CSPD Communications confirmed via X (formerly known as Twitter), that the department will be on crash alert status through the night due to “extremely” slick roads. It is advising drivers to report non-injury accidents with no alcohol/drugs involved and no damage to city property online .

Traffic incidents that can be submitted online include no drugs or alcohol, no damage to public property, no injuries or death, and all drivers must agree to “cold” report the crash.
