Bulldogs back to .500 following 36-28 road loss to Air Force

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Fresno State (5-5) 3-3 MW has fallen back to a mid-level of play after their latest conference loss to Air Force (2-7) 1-4 MW.

Throughout the beginning of the contest, the Bulldogs battled with the Falcons. QB Mikey Keene went a perfect 8-of-8 for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns in the first half. Connecting on scores to Mac Dalena (73 yards) and Jalen Moss (19 yards), to lift Fresno State to a 21-17 lead at the break.

The second half proved to be for the Falcons on their home turf though, as Air Force answered with 17 straight points while forcing the only turnover of the ball game.

Fresno State now drops back-to-back contests for the second time this season and will look to once again attain bowl-eligibility against Colorado State (6-3) 4-0 MW on November 23rd after a bye week.
