COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is looking for a special way to celebrate its shelter pets this holiday season. The Humane Society said this Thanksgiving they hope to give their pets some extra love by feeding them special Thanksgiving day dinners. The Humane Society said the Thanksgiving day plates would include crunchy treats, green beans, real turkey and a slice of pumpkin pie.
