Budget airline Allegiant Air unveils largest expansion ever with new cities served in AL, CO, SC

Allegiant Travel Company (G4) has announced the largest expansion in its history, adding 44 nonstop routes and three new cities to its growing network: Gulf Shores, Alabama; Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Columbia, South Carolina. These additions bring Allegiant’s service to 51 cities, reaffirming its commitment to affordable, convenient travel.

The new routes, set to launch in February 2025, target underserved communities, connecting them to popular vacation destinations. Gulf Shores will gain links to Knoxville, Houston, and Kansas City, while Colorado Springs and Columbia airports will see new routes to cities like Phoenix/Mesa, Santa Ana, and Daytona Beach.

Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, highlighted the airline’s mission to meet demand and make leisure travel accessible. “These routes simplify travel for customers seeking affordable adventures,” he said.
