(WOODLAND PARK, Colo.) — On Tuesday, Dec. 23, Woodland Park Parks and Recreation reminded the public that the ice at Memorial Park Pond at 200 North Park Street in Woodland Park is not safe for skating. The agency asks for the public’s understanding and that, for their own safety, they stay off the ice.
According to Woodland Park Parks and Recreation, volunteers and crew are working hard to get the rink ready for skating at Meadow Wood Sports Complex, at 2000 Evergreen Heights Drive, with hopes that it will be open by Saturday, Dec. 28, depending on the weather.
