(COLORADO SPRINGS) — King Soopers is still looking for employees before opening the new store in the Flying Horse neighborhood in January, and Saturday, Dec. 29, was the final event in six hiring sessions to hire 300 new employees for the Flying Horse location.
“I think the contribution to the community is amazing at these types of events because we get to see more people than we would who apply online,” said Lexi Uff, District HR Leader for King Soopers. “We get to see you in person. We get to put a face to the name. We can have a conversation with you. We get to see our community and they get to see us, right? Like, these interviews are not just for us or for you too”
The new location will be at 2731 North Gate Boulevard” in Colorado Springs and will be open daily from six in the morning to 11 at night seven days a week . Doors will open at nine in the morning on January 22 after the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The store has already hired 250 people, and only part-time positions are available at this time. If anyone missed the hiring events and still wants to apply, there is still time to do so on the website linked above.
