Douglas County Sheriff’s Office needs help finding car involved in rollover crash

DENVER ( KDVR ) — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community to be on the lookout for a vehicle reportedly involved in a serious rollover crash.

According to deputies, on Dec. 29 at 12:15 a.m., the driver of a Dodge Durango left the scene of a rollover crash near Kendrick Castillo Way , formally Lucent Boulevard, and Plaza Drive in Highlands Ranch.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office did not release further information on injuries.

They are now asking for the community’s help in identifying the suspect vehicle. The car is described as:

  • 2015–2016 Dodge Durango
  • Red or maroon in color
  • Has silver wheels
  • Front-end damage, possibly missing parts of the front bumper
  • Last seen driving westbound on Plaza Drive towards Creekside Way

At this time, deputies said it is unclear if the vehicle is from the Highlands Ranch area.

“Your tips could make all the difference in solving this case,” the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said.
