Evacuations lifted as wildfire in northern Colorado fully contained

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) -On Monday afternoon, a fire that prompted mandatory and voluntary evacuations in northern Colorado was fully contained.

Evacuations were issued around 1:47 p.m. The fire was burning near Berthoud, just southwest of Loveland.

The Berthoud Fire Protection District said the fire was 100 percent contained as of 3 p.m. Crews said they would continue to work in the area, and smoke may still be visible…
