Denver murder suspect extradited back to Colorado after pursuit in central Nebraska

LEXINGTON — A suspect in a Denver murder case who was arrested in central Nebraska following a pursuit has been extradited back to Colorado.

Augustine Vega, 36, of Colorado Springs, had been charged in Dawson County with use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, a Class 2 felony and operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, a Class 4 felony.

In Colorado, Vega is facing two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder, four counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of first-degree burglary…
