COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) -A mass cleanup is happening in Colorado Springs as city crews and partner agencies work to clear trash and connect people living in camps to services.
The effort, which began Wednesday and continues through Thursday, is focused on heavily impacted areas including trails, parks, and roadways.
The Colorado Springs Police Department’s Homeless Outreach Team is leading the initiative alongside the Colorado Department of Transportation, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, and Keep Company Springs Beautiful.
