Plan moving ahead for Fishers Canyon in Colorado Springs

A plan for a new outdoor destination in Colorado Springs appears to be moving ahead while nearby residents continue to plead for more time to address concerns.

The Trails, Open Space and Parks (TOPS) Working Committee recently heard another presentation regarding the plan for Fishers Canyon Open Space. It was the second such presentation for the 100-page document more than a year in the making, detailing recreation development and management of the 343 acres on the city’s southwest side.
