DENVER ( KDVR ) — After a warm and dry stretch, Mother Nature is reminding Colorado that winter weather can still happen in April.
Friday and Saturday are Pinpoint Weather Alert Days due to rain and snow showers that will impact the Front Range and high country. Winter weather advisories will be in effect through Saturday morning.
According to the Pinpoint Weather team, heavy snow will coat the high country, dropping up to a foot of accumulation in some areas. This is great news for the lingering ski areas that remain open this spring.
