A spring snowstorm that moved into Colorado on Friday dropped more than a foot of snow in parts of the state’s high country, while totals varied widely in lower elevations.
In the Colorado Springs area, 6.1 inches was reported on the city’s west side. Black Forest and Peterson Space Force Base each saw 3 inches.
