(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), on Sunday, May 4, officers responded to a shooting in which a man was found dead with a gunshot wound and a grenade in his hand.
CSPD reported that officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 2800 block of South Circle Drive, near Hancock Expressway, around 9:30 a.m., where they found the man and the grenade.
The CSPD Regional Explosive Unit (REU) responded and recovered two inert grenades in the home. The grenades were determined to be non-hazardous, according to CSPD…
