WWBT 12 News On Your Side reported thatVirginia native Gabby Douglas has been named to the 2025 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Hall of Fame class.
About Gabby Douglas
Gymnast Gabby Douglas was born in Newport News and grew up in Virginia Beach. She made history for being the first African American to win the women’s gymnastics all-around gold medal at the London Olympic Games in 2012. The 29-year-old former member of the Team USA Gymnastics, is a three-time Olympic champion.
