A man accused of hitting a 74-year-old jogger with his SUV on Monday allegedly told police that he “woke up and smoked weed and just felt like killing someone.”
According to court documents, Colorado Springs police received a call around 11:50 a.m. Monday about an automobile-versus-pedestrian incident at the intersection of Cheyenne Boulevard and May Street near Stratton Open Space.
