(COLORADO SPRINGS) — 40 Food Trucks will be on display serving delicious bites as the community will gather for this year’s 719 Battle of the Food Trucks happening Sunday, June 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. downtown at 425 South Sierra Madre Street. Event organizer Holly Hand and last year’s winner Caleb Amador joined Loving Living Local host Justin Antweil to preview the fun festivities. Amador runs Bowl In The City, which specializes in Asian Rice Bowls.
“This is affordable family fun for the community,” said Hand. “Last year, there were lines to get in, but this year we will have 10 booths open to allow people in, which should ease the traffic. We are so excited for you to be a celebrity Judge this year, Justin! It’s going to be tough to pick a winner because there are 40 outstanding, qualified trucks.”…
