Meet the New Baby Skunks at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo This Month

More than a dozen skunk babies have been born in the past two weeks at a Colorado zoo, and they are adorable.

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo reports that skunks Isabel and Padfoot are each raising a litter of seven baby skunks that were born exactly two weeks apart. This means that there are a total of 14 little bundles of aromatic joy.

What Are Colorado’s New Baby Skunks Up To?

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs says that the skunk babies are staying busy nursing, sleeping, and, curiously, nuzzling one another. Both skunk moms and all of the babies appear to be doing well, too.

Visitors can see the new additions to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo during the skunk training demonstrations in The Loft on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the zoo.

National Skunk Day would be the perfect time to meet the new skunk kits at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. National Skunk Day will happen on June 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This will be a great opportunity for skunk lovers to have a “stinking cute” meet and greet.
