Colorado State Patrol warns about busy roads after the holiday weekend

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – As the holiday weekend winds down, many are traveling back to Colorado Springs. With some extra traffic on the road, Colorado State Patrol is advising drivers to be patient after a long weekend.

DUI enforcement is also heightened this time of year.

According to CSP, they had a sobriety checkpoint in Weld County, and ask that drivers be mindful about impaired drivers if you head out. Troopers also told 11 News that if you see someone who may be impaired while driving, there are ways to report them as soon as possible…
