Woman who allegedly stole guns from home arrested

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) arrested a woman after she unlawfully entered a home and stole a gun.

On Monday, July 7, CSPD received a 911 call from a homeowner in the 2200 block of Yampa Street regarding a burglary in progress. The reporting party was able to provide a suspect description and told dispatch that the suspect had stolen a firearm from the home.

Upon arrival, officers located the suspect, 34-year-old Marina Bayly, walking near the intersection of Uintah Street and Sunset Road. Bayly was taken into custody without incident. After being detained, it was found she had been armed with one of the guns that had been stolen…
