Motorcyclist dies in three-vehicle crash on Highway 24

(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — According to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP), the crash that shut down Highway 24 northeast of Falcon on Friday, July 19, was a three-vehicle crash that caused the death of one person.

Highway 24 reopens following crash

CSP reported that the crash, which occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Friday, was between a motorcycle, a Ford F150 pickup truck, and a Chevrolet Suburban. When emergency crews arrived, they found the motorcyclist dead on the scene from injuries received in the crash. No other injuries were reported.

The crash closed Highway 24 in both directions from Stapleton Road to Judge Orr Road for several hours as the crash was investigated…
