COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Several departments have been asked to limit their spending to balance out the city budget for 2025, according to Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade.
In a press briefing on Wednesday, Mobolade said the city is in a $11.5 million deficit. He said the city has experienced steady revenue growth over the last 15 years, but that revenue has flattened since 2023.
