Judge dismisses case against CSPD sergeant accused of intimidation

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A judge has dismissed a case against a Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) sergeant who was accused of intimidating a victim.

Glenn Eric Thomas, a 30-year veteran officer with CSPD, was arrested in November 2024 after allegedly intimidating a 10-year-old victim. Thomas was facing several charges, including Witness/Victim Intimidating, Tampering with Witness/Victim, and two charges of Civil Violations, which he pled not guilty to in February 2025.

On Monday, July 28, Thomas was due back in court, and his charges were dismissed. The defense argued that, though a Woodland Park Police officer had initially confronted Thomas over an allegation involving one of the victims, the officer was not clear when he spoke to Thomas about the status of the investigation, or if it would continue…
