(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — Black Forest Fire and Rescue said on Monday, July 28, at around 3:30 p.m., crews responded to an outside fire caused by sparks from a power line.
According to Black Forest Fire and Rescue, they responded to the fire along with the Falcon Fire Department. Black Forest Fire and Rescue said the fire was a less than one-acre grass fire off of Brule Road near Woodmen Road.
Black Forest Fire and Rescue said a power line threw some sparks and caused the fire to spread to surrounding pine trees and grass, which eventually set fire to nearby RVs and trailers. The fire was extinguished quickly, and Black Forest Fire and Rescue said no victims were involved…
