Paddleboarder, dog found dead after storm on Eleven Mile reservoir

The body of a paddleboarder and dog were recovered from the reservoir at Eleven Mile State Park after a strong wind storm rolled through the area Friday, Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials said.

The man was with two others on the Eleven Mile Canyon Reservoir when a storm rolled in at 1 p.m. Friday and blew the group into the water, state officials said in a news release.
