Local farms prepare for Colorado State Fair

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado State Fair is set to begin on Friday, Aug. 22 in Pueblo, showcasing the state’s best agricultural products and supporting local businesses.

Local farmers, including Musso Farms, have been preparing for the event, which is a significant opportunity to sell their produce, particularly Pueblo green chiles.

“This is definitely playoff time for us,” said Rocky Musso, a farmer at Musso Farms, highlighting the importance of the fair for their business.
