(PEYTON, Colo.) — The National Mill Dog Rescue in Peyton is hosting a Clear the Shelter event on Saturday, Aug. 23, from noon until 5 p.m.The rescue has over 100 dogs available for adoption, with a variety of breeds available, searching for their forever homes. Those interested can go through a pre-approval process for adoption, or sign up to adopt the day of the event. Those who attend can expect to receive tours of the facility, enjoy food trucks, and explore vendors.
