A 31-year-old man, Joseph Blodgett of Littleton, Colorado, has been sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of Felony Eluding and Reckless Endangerment, following a harrowing police chase in a stolen vehicle that led to a near catastrophe outside a bustling grocery store. According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Blodgett was apprehended on January 26, after Deputy Connor Lacey intervened to protect pedestrians when the suspect attempted to escape through a parking lot in reverse, eventually colliding with a patrol car.
