Owner and hat designer Brenda Quinones is known as the ‘Hat Queen of the West.’ Her customized hats are made with skill and expertise. She specializes in western and fedora hats. The talented designer joined Loving Living Local host Justin Antweil to explain what makes her hats so unique and special.
“First I measure the customer’s head, chat about what they are looking for in terms of type of fur, color, and style, then build the hat,” said Quinones. “It’s a very detailed process. Building the hat includes blocking, pouncing, installing the sweatband and satin liner, and finally hat shaping.”…
