Motorcycle rider arrested after driving 142 mph on Colorado highway

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – A motorcycle rider was arrested after driving over 140 mph on I-25, according to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP).

A CSP aircraft reportedly saw the motorcycle traveling extremely fast on northbound I-25 between Larkspur and Castle Rock at 2:45 p.m.

Troopers flying in a Patrol airplane first spotted the motorcycle near milepost 171 in the toll lane, estimating speeds over 100 mph. Troopers then saw the motorcycle weaving across double solid white lines to pass other vehicles near milepost 180 before rapidly accelerating…
